Each combo pairs a proven, durable Battle II Spinning Reel with a tough, yet sensitive carbon fiber rod with aluminum oxide guides. This selection of nine different set-ups gives a wide range of anglers a shot at their favorite prey.
With legendary Penn quality, each Battle II reel boasts a full metal body, side plate, and rotor for exceptional durability and precise gear alignment. Unruly “sluggers” are brought to heel by the time-tested HT-100 drag that remains consistent under heavy loads. Retrieves are made easy by the smooth five-ball-bearing design.
Reels also boast Penn’s machined and anodized Superline Spool™. You can load this spool with traditional monofilament, or for greater capacity and breaking strength, with one of the new superlines, which can be loaded without backing due to the spool’s rubber gasket that prevents slip.
